Can 'WE' be iconoclasts??

Behind the false face of democracy, bigotry blatantly lives on. The latest incident in this regard has been the expelling of Mr. Jaswant Singh, senior Leader of BJP. The ever controversial issue of eulogizing Mohammad Ali Jinnah, has yet again denigrated the Indian Politics.

The expulsion of Mr. Singh, with no warning has led to to a very poignant display of BJPs non secular ideology. If this had to take place, it could have been done following a dialogue between the party leaders & Mr. Singh himself. this shows that the seeds planted by RSS, keep on sprouting up in such cases. The ideology of Veer Savarkars, even in this age of modernism is being practised.

India which is the worlds largest democracy, still after 62 years of Independence fails to come together on the same platform. The information about Mr. Singh writing a book on Jinnah was not new, but has been acted upon in such hasty manner of brazened emotions. The 600 pages book released on Monday and by Wednesday, in the 'Chintan Baithak' held in Shimla, this unfair decision was taken up, with the support of all the party members who had not even cared to read the book.
All in all, in a democratic country, where the Freedom Of Speech is everyones' birthright, there this falsehood exists where influential people face this brunt in speaking their minds, then where does the 'Aam Aadmi' stand?

  1. Firstly, Nice post ot start with..but what i think is even though i have started to not like BJP, I feel as a party they have every right to put his book under scanner, cauz political party has an agenda, common goal etc etc( Even though now with BJP u dont know wht r their goals)but definitely they should have given him a chance. On the other hand, Narendra Modi, did a wrong thing by banning the book in Gujarat, cauz that was wrong on BJP's part as they denied the Right to Express.
But if u look at bigger picture here, do we need our leaders/influential people or for that matter anyone of us have a total right to write anything about any person(Living/Dead.. esp Dead!!)) which would have significant impact on Socio-political effect on Nation as a whole. Some might argue its our Fundamental Right , but it does come with responsibility.
