Con amore


When I wanna stay, you make me leave,
And then you make me stay , when I wanna leave.
But then, you make me believe, when I am in doubt.
And then you love me, when I think,
Love is something, I can live without.

You treat me so gentle & wipe my tears,
But when you are angry, it's you who I fear,
But then you come & serenade me for a dance in a crowd,
And then you love me, when I think,
Love is something, I can live without.

When the dawn breaks, to see me is your need,
But when you do, you try to pay no heed.
By the noon, the tempers shoot-up & we scream & shout,
And then you love me, when I think,
Love is something, I can live without.

We fight & we decide never to talk,
But when you see me low,You hug me & take me for a walk.
And then things turn to hugs from pouts,
Cause, you actually love me & then I think,Love is something, none can live without.

    so beautifully written and thought of...mesmerised by ur boundless imagination yar...great post..as if some movie is going on...after reading it, the vivid images created in my mind have given immense pleasure...especially the last one..feels like reading it again and again...so pure and serene.. god bless u dear..keep rolling ur blog wid such beautiful styles... :)

    This is such a beautiful and lovely poem. Heartfelt. Warm. As Nitin already commented, reading it is like creating images in mind, feeling the love and the pain and the confusion and the chaos. wow. I feel so happy to see you write such a fantastic poem. Feelings and imagination are merging into one another, and equally visible is the confusion they cause. Andha likha hai. Usse bhi andha socha hai.
    This is perhaps why you chose to write, because you are damn good and getting better by the day.

    Hey Girl,

    It is a lovely poem, looks like a scene from a Spanish (set up) movie.....like one of the songs in a room full of people but a couple does not notice anyone :)............

    Wow Ananya. I didn't know you wrote poetry! Completely awestruck.
    This one's my favorite.
    @zuko summed it up really well. You've captured the interplay of emotions & feelings, the ups and downs of so beautifully. Its funny how despite everything, it still draws you back.

    The poetry is so feel good! The small fights and the joy of reconciliation ☺ and the ending “Love is something, none can live without” just takes it all!
